For a period job. The phrase is old and beat, but it fits perfectly in the context of the musicians are the wealthiest people in the United Kingdom. The cradle of the best of the rock and other rhythms from the 60's, England's and the surrounding area has also produced some of the most successful artists in the world. And, while most young people turn away from the sound that marked him, and even today the influence of the world, and the majority of the names are in the the old guardwith a few that aren't really to be taken seriously as a talent, but it is there, stamped in the story. Thus, the members of the The Beatles, Stone, Pink Floyd - and The Queenfor example, there are at the very top of the list.

Queen – another criticism of the politically incorrect

Attention:: For a critique of the purely musical, and read my text Day. You should also know how is the new album from the Queen: The Cosmos Rocks.

Ag. NewsThe week had started with a (very polite) a show of another band from the past,” the Duran Duran – that, in spite of the best efforts on the last disc of the set, with the shares of the darlings of the music industry of the present age, has not been able to take off and the compact disc. The one that did work was the old hits.

There was a question: If Duran was not able to fill up on the planet earth, you will be the Queen (without Freddie Mercury, of course) would be able to fill the Multi-purpose Arena (or AT, if you like, a place much larger? Will you be able to get rid of can only be an act of nostalgia?

The answer started to become clear when they arrive in the vicinity of the race track and you are faced with a huge traffic jam. Not packed, but it was at least 4x more people in the show, the Durans, it's the price of admission even $ 400!

Ag. NewsI know that it is unfair to compare it to the size and history of the The Queen the Durans, but we've got to have something. The whole of the'The queen” they brought a rock show as it is expected. "Good sound" (which might be a bit over the top), flashing lights, big screens, great backing musicians, and the music for everyone to enjoy.

The sequence of the original (full album), that's what it takes to make sure that no-one would have dared to complain of the Paul Rodgershis competentíssimo is the voice of my favorite version of the These Arms of Mine, Ottis Readingand they're on the road a long time ago, that the very The Queen. Rodgers is the most rock ' n ' roll, it has a good stage presence and was able to stake out their place in the band, the show and the hearts of the audience.

The excitement and joy was visible on the faces of Rodgers (who smiled, thanked us and sent us kisses and waves to all the time), the Roger Taylor (what has come to be surprised when the audience sang in a 39, almost in its entirety), and Money May (they cried after The Love of My Life and at the end of the show, when she couldn't hold back any tears).

“I can still hear you singing this song in the early 80's...We're going to sing for the friends who are absent. We're going to sing with Freddie Mercury,” he said, before the Love of My Life.

Ag. NewsWhat could possibly be corny (the very Love of My Life turned out to be a tribute to the fair, and in the same way. The film of Mercury on the Also featured and Bohemian Rhapsody nothing seems to be opportunistic. The music of the The Queen they are treasures, and the band's the same without John Deacon) takes care of them with love and respect, and it also shows that there is a living contact with things of the past. They showed it on the show, and can not have to forget or leave behind the moments, things, or people from the past . They showed that it is possible to build a different future and a happy one just by changing the things that need to change.

Probably the best show in the international 2008).

The high points:

On the set of Brian May and Roger Taylor, at the ramp and they cut to the audience;
The mounting of the drum kit, Roger, and for your ground (the battery was mounted on it while he played);
The inclusion of the songs from A Night At the Opera (such as the '39 and' I'm in Love With My Car);
The "Arena" (the great acoustics and excellent facilities):
The form of the electric guitar in May,
The stage presence of Paul Rodgers.

Weaknesses:

For the price, (unfair for the united states);
The volume of the sound (could be a few decibels at most),
The Arena looonnggeee too much, and in it all, and with a parking lot with a hard to reach place).

The Love of My Life

Some of the photos are taken by me (professional photos you can find on the Day).

Two of the letters to stop, read and think about:

The Love of My Life (Freddie Mercury)

The Love of my life you've hurt me
You've broken my heart, now you leave me.
The Love of my life can't you see,

Bring it back, bring it back,
Don't take it away from me
Because you don't know
What it means to me.

The Love of my life don't leave me,
You've stolen my love you now desert me,
The Love of my life can't you see,

Bring it back, bring it back,
Don't take it away from me
Because you don't know
What it means to me.

You will remember
When this is blown over,
And everythings all by the way
When I grow older,
I will be there at your side,
To remind you how I still love you
I still love you.

Hurry back-hurry back,
Don't take it away from me
Because you don't know
What it means to me.

The Show must go on (Queen)

Empty spaces – what are we living for?
Abandoned places – I guess we know the score..
On and on!
Does anybody know what we are looking for?

Another hero – another mindless crime.
Behind the curtain, in the pantomime.
"Hold the line!
Does anybody want to take it anymore?
The Show must go on!
The Show must go on!
Inside my heart is breaking,
My make-up may be flaking,
But my smile, still, stays on!

Whatever happens, I'll leave it all to chance.
Another heartache – another failed romance.
On and on!
Does anybody know what we are living for?
I guess I'm learning
I must be warmer now..
I'll soon be turning round the corner now.
Outside the dawn is breaking,
But inside in the dark I'm aching to be free!

The Show must go on!
The Show must go on! Yeah!
"Oh! Inside my heart is breaking!
My make-up may be flaking!
But my smile, still, stays on!
Yeah! oh, oh, oh

My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies,
The Fairy tales of yesterday, will grow but never die,
I can fly, my friends!

The Show must go on! Yeah!
The Show must go on!
I'll face it with a grin!
"I'm never giving in!
On with the show!

I'll top the bill!
I'll overkill!
I have to find the will to carry on!
On with this,
On with the show!

The Show must go on.

The new Queen

After a lot of hearings, a tremendous care so as not to stop on the side of the fan yell the loudest, I wrote about the new album The Queen now without the bass player John Deacon. The Cosmos Rocks it's a pretty decent rock album, and with a faint disk of the The Queen.

Too bad they are only going to play in Sao Paulo.
