The Rio das Ostras Jazz & Blues Festival will happen between the days 15 to 17 June. The new dates of the shows will be announced in the next week.
The blocking of roads and the shortage of fuel caused a lot of inconvenience to the brazilian people and affected even the Rio das Ostras Jazz & Blues Festivalthat would happen today (31) until the 3rd of June (the long weekend of Corpus Christi), had to change their dates, passing for the period from 15 to 17 June. On the last day of the festival the audience can watch the premiere in Brazil on a large screen that will be installed in the Lagoon Iriry.
– We have more than 70% of the attractions confirmed for the new dates. Stanley Jordan e Armandinho, Banda Black Rio, Marlon Sette, Rosa Marya Colin, and Jefferson Gonçalves, Azymuth and DJ Nuts, Igor Prado & the Just Groove, Fred Sun Walk & The Dog Brothers, Amaro Freitas & Big Gilson – account Stenio Mattos, director of the Festival.
The new schedule will be announced in the next week, in the the site of the festival.

It is with much sadness that we have announce in an official note that the Rio das Ostras Jazz & Blues will be held in new date: the 15th to the 17th of June.
The change was due to the severity of the shortages of fuel and its reflections in the municipality. In an official note, the Prefecture of Rio das Ostras, informs that the decision was taken in conjunction with the production of the event, representatives of hotels, hostels and restaurants of the city, during a meeting in the afternoon of this Monday (28).
Still, according to the Prefecture, the festival is of great cultural importance and economical for the municipality.
For the production of the Festival, a postponement becomes necessary to ensure the quality of the festival. We production not we would feel comfortable in keeping the festival without the ideal conditions of infrastructure, says Stenio Mattos, director of the Festival. We apologize for the inconvenience, we count on your understanding and hope to you on the 15th to celebrate finally our 15 years!
