Figs to the port with ham (parma)
6 slices prosciutto (preferably di parma)
½ Cup Port wine (preferably Ruby)
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
Cut the figs in half, without removing the peel. In a bowl, place the half cup of Port wine, and then pour in the tablespoon of balsamic vinegar. Mix well
Drizzle the figs with the sauce and bake in the oven for 20 minutes (medium oven)
After taking the figs from the oven, place the parma ham on top, or wrap it in fig and garnish with the cheese.
Simple and delicious.
